We perform the utility’s discounted $100 Home Performance with ENERGY STAR audits, which qualifies homeowners for rebates averaging $2500 towards the cost of insulation, air sealing and weatherization. Unlike most contractors, we discount the utility’s rebates immediately from your insulation quote, and apply for it on our end after completing your work. You do not have to wait for your rebate in the mail, and it is one of the reasons our customers give us great reviews!
Advanced Green Home Solutions also performs Quick Home Energy Check-ups (QHECs) for BGE, PEPCO and Delmarva/DPL utility customers at no additional cost to your current bill. This visual inspection includes a report summarizing important findings, recommended improvements and installations of energy-saving devices.
Both the $100 audit or QHEC includes the installation of:
- Up to 14 LED bulbs
- Faucet aerators
- Efficient-flow shower head
- Pipe insulation (installed on hot and cold pipes from water heater for six feet)
- ShowerStartTM shower head adapter
- Smart power strip
